The “Ask the Director” event, organized by Aksaray University Vocational School of Health Services to enable students to directly share their opinions, suggestions, and requests with the administration, was held on October 9, 2026, at the Faculty of Health Sciences Conference Hall with strong student participation.

During the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Gül Olgun Karacan, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, listened to students' questions and exchanged views on educational processes, physical facilities, and social opportunities.

Students raised various issues, particularly practical courses, laboratory and classroom conditions, course schedules, examinations and assignments, internship practices, technological infrastructure, and educational materials. Requests concerning improvements to classroom facilities, maintenance of projection equipment, internet access, practical training hours, and student social areas were also discussed.

As part of the event, students were informed about the MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association) accreditation processes, and informative brochures were distributed. The importance of student participation in quality assurance and accreditation activities was emphasized.

The opinions and suggestions expressed during the event were recorded for further evaluation by the relevant units.

The event, organized in line with a student-centered management approach, provided an important opportunity to strengthen students' active participation in decision-making and continuous quality improvement processes.
