An informative event was organized by Aksaray University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) to raise awareness among students about international career opportunities.
The event featured contributions from Jochen Mager and Regulla Hess, owners of the Ried Nursing and Home Care Center located in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, as well as Nezahat Demirel, who works at the same institution. The presentation was delivered to students via a recorded session.
During the program, the speakers provided comprehensive information on the recognition (equivalence) process for graduates of the Elderly Care Technician program in Türkiye, as well as visa procedures and working conditions in Germany. They also shared their experiences and highlighted key considerations for those planning to pursue a career in elderly care abroad.
The event attracted strong interest from students and offered valuable guidance for those considering international career paths.
